What the game helps you notice

Gumfoot lines connect a cobweb to the ground. A weak ground attachment can release when prey trips it, letting energy stored in the upper scaffolding lift the prey into the web.

Where does the upward energy come from?

From the preloaded supporting web. The ground attachment acts as a release point; it does not create the energy.

A game inspired by science—not a biological simulator.

The three lanes, arming button, and recharge timers make a strategy game. The upper spring is a simplified stand-in for a distributed cobweb, not energy stored only in the gumfoot strand.
